Groups are very welcome at Godinton and can either enjoy the House & Gardens or just the Gardens.

In the garden a guided tour can be arranged with our head gardener Vivien Hunt for a small additional fee or the beautiful twelve acres of formal and informal gardens can be enjoyed at your leisure.

During your visit to Godinton you may wish to have some refreshments, these can be pre-booked with our tearooms, from coffee and biscuits, to a wholesome ploughman's lunch or our delicious homemade cakes and cream teas.

You may picnic in the grassy paddock area beside the car park, or you can enjoy your picnic in the garden by prior arrangement.

TWIN TOURS

Godinton House & Gardens & The Chapel Down Winery

At 10.30am you will arrive at the historic Godinton House & Gardens, enjoy a cup of coffee prior to a fascinating guided tour of this ancient house. After a light lunch (additional cost, see below) explore the twelve acres of beautiful formal and informal gardens before departing at 2.30pm.

On arrival at Chapel Down you will be escorted by one of the knowledgeable guides on a tour of the vineyards and winery followed by a wine tasting. After the tour browse in the Wine and Fine Food store before enjoying coffee and biscuits in the Bistro. Finally rejoin your coach after what will have been a truly enjoyable and memorable day in the Kent countryside.
